Meet BROADWAY! I was certified as a therapy dog in October and when I'm not working to make people feel better - I'm on the job as a Search and Rescue dog with the NW PA K9 Search and Rescue. I work in both Erie and Crawford counties, and I really excel at both of my very important jobs.
Things I Have Learned from Humans: I can control my human just by the look on my face!! If I look sad, my Mom pets me. If I look hungry, she feeds me. If I make a silly face, she laughs with me.
Things My Owner Has Learned from Me: Broadway has taught me how to be a better person. She never holds a grudge. She always makes me laugh. She gives great hugs. She compliments me in a way that makes me be the kind of person I should be.
Favorite Trick: Play "bow." In fact, it's a great way to end my Public Relations' lectures. I play bow as a way of saying "that's all folks!" It always makes people laugh.
Favorite Treat: Anything chicken is great. I really love the dehydrated chicken strips from Wal-mart. But, really, I think anything chicken is simply the best!
Make No Bones About It..I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because: I love people. I think they do funny things. I love it when people talk to me and pet my ears. I love it when they tell me how pretty I am. But, I also like to have fun, too. I really like it when people toss a ball and play with me.
My Favorite Places to Visit: Schools. My volunteer handler is named Michelle.
