Meet DOOGAN! I am a 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd. When I am not working with adults and children as a therapy dog - I also serve as a certified Search and Rescue dog with the NW PA K9 Search and Rescue.
Things I Have Learned from Humans: Good manners and trust (it's for my own good!) I've also learned that most people like dogs, especially kids, so if I sit nicely - they will pet me. Oh, and the most important thing that I have learned from humans is that they will give me treats!
Things My Owner Has Learned from Me: To be patient and to trust me (I know what I am doing!) They've also learned that I love my mom and dad and that I will do whatevery they ask - even if I don't want to - to make them happy. They've also learned that I am funny, smart, and a big lap dog!
Favorite Trick: I love to play "hide and go seek" as well as round up my friend Bob the Cat when he escapes from the house.
Favorite Treat: Natural Balance training treats
Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because: I love to help people!
My Favorite Place to Visit: Erie School District, Borders Books. My volunteer handlers are named LuAnn and Adam.
