Meet ELLA!  I am a very laid back Golden Retriever, and I am my Dad and Mom's pride and joy.  They have trained me very well, in fact, so well - sometimes I don't even need my leash.

Things I Have Learned from Humans:  Sometimes it's okay to be the leader of the pack!  But, sometimes, it's just okay to follow.  I have learned how to be a great listener, and what it takes to be a best friend.

Things My Owner Has Learned from Me:  Patience and control.  How to give and take, and that great dogs aren't just born - it take a lot of time, hard work and dedication.

Favorite Trick:  I don't know if it's a trick or not, but I love to lay on my side for belly rubs.
Favorite Treat:  I'm a great girl, I love everything!  But, most of all - rides around the Peninsula in my mom's convertable with the top down!

Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because:  I show compassion every day.  And, I favor visiting elderly women - they're so kind and gentle!    I am very respectful, and gentle which is true to my breed.

My Favorite Place to Visit: Sarah Reed Retirement Center.  My volunteer handlers are named Randy and Alice.
