Meet FRASIER! I am a 7 year old Eurasier. I am a very rare breed! I have been an active therapy dog for 2 years in nursing homes, and was a companion to my elderly next door neighbor (in his 90's). I really, really love children and plan to visit as many as I can!
Things I Have Learned from Humans: I am not allowed to climb trees to chase squirrels, no matter how bad I want to. I have to stop at intersections to wait for traffic (why?) I have had to learn moderation - I can't have bones whenever I want them...Other than that, I was pretty smart to begin with.
Things My Owner Has Learned from Me: Not all big dogs are scary. I have helped many, many children with their fear of dogs. My biggest lesson to humans, though, would have to be that all people are to be treated equal. I love everyone I meet no matter who they are!
Favorite Trick: I am not really talented in the trick department. Occasionally I will comply with the "shake" command, but that's if I feel like it. I will, however, drop to the floor almost immediately for a good belly rub!
Favorite Treat: Greenies, cheese and stolen cat food!
Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because: I have a gentle soul. There is not a human or animal alive that I don't want to be friends with. I adore attention and cannot get enough, so I am constantly looking for new friends!
My Favorite Places to Visit: Sunrise at Presque Isle Bay, Borders Books. My volunteer handler is named Janis.
