Meet OLIVER!  I'm an 8 and a half year old (January pooch) Golden Retriever who grew up in the country without the boundaries of a fence or leash.  As a pup, I had an older dog-bro named Moose the Collie and Princess the cat who served as playful siblings.  Presently, I am a city dweller working as a professional office greeter.  A bit bored, I am looking to meet and help folks who may need a little jumpstart in the "happy" department.

Things I Have Learned from Humans:  They need friends, too.  And...there are rules you have to follow to be a good dog, or a good human.  You have to work if you want to eat.  You've gotta wait your turn.  Don't pick fights.  And above all, be KIND.

Things My Owner Has Learned from Me:  Patience!  Growing a good dog is just like raising a good child.  Also, dogs can bring out the "kind heart" in (most) people.

Favorite Trick:  Rollin' over...cause I like my chest scratched.
Favorite Treat:  Anything but vegetables.  Although I have to be careful.  I have a sensitive stomach.  Diarrhea.  Bummers.

Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because:  I feel good making people feel good.

My Favorite Places to Visit:  The Barber Center Senior Center, Forestview at Springhill, Borders Books.  My volunteer handler is named Mark.
