Meet RILEY! I know it’s a name often given to boys, but I am all girl! I was rescued from the Humane Society almost four years ago, and life has never been better! No one really knows what breeds I am, but they think I have Boston Terrier and some other terrier in me. I’ll never tell!
Things I Have Learned from Humans: They need a great deal of love and affection.
Things My Owner Has Learned from Me: Patience is everything. If you stick with each other and work hard, you can accomplish anything together and love doing it. Learning is a two way street.
Favorite Trick: Playing Frisbee – this is a great game, and I especially love to twist and turn while jumping! Now I am just beginning to learn how to do agility.
Favorite Treat: Green squeaky frog!
Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because... Sitting in laps and cuddling up to people are two of my favorite things to do, along with going to work with my owner at a center for troubled teenage girls. I have a warm, bright personality, and I can play with intensity or be very laid back, depending on what the humans need at the moment. I love people and will do whatever I can to please.
My Favorite Places to Visit: Gannondale. My volunteer handler is named Nancy.
