I am a 5 year old Standard Poodle - and I am a former Calendar Girl! I was featured in the September 2007 issue of a National Puppy Calendar. I love swimming, boating, riding in the car, kitties, my dog sister Sydney who is also a therapy dog, visiting anyone, and lots of attention!
Things I Have Learned from Humans: People are awesome! They bring you food, treats, squeeky toys, and let you sleep on the bed. Also, if I sit by the door and look cute, my Dad will drive me around.
Things My Owner Has Learned from Me: Unconditional love, slowing down and giving the gift of time. Stopping to smell the roses (and everything else)! Cocoa would sit quietly with her 89 year old Grandpa for really long periods of time despite her puppy exuberance.
Favorite Trick: Carrying my own leash, "high five"
Favorite Treat: Meaty Middles, Pupperoni, Biscuits
Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because: I love everyone, and I am a true social butterfly!
My Favorite Places to Visit: The Sarah Reed Retirement Center, Borders Books, Stairways Behavioral Health. My volunteer handler is named Sue.
