Meet Dexter!

My registered name is Hagaren's Street Spirit. Just a few more points and I'll be an AKC champion like my dad! I love to show! I love people and animals! I love everything and everyone, so my human mommy thought I might like to visit people who were sad or sick or needed help, and that I could make them feel better. I am really excited to do that! Me and my brothers and sisters were born on my human mommy's birthday, so she knew we were all going to be very special.

Things I Learned from Humans:  That there are a million opportunities in the world and I need to go out and try for them all.

Things My Owner Learned from Me:  To be friendly and open and accepting, and to always expect the best from people.

Favorite Trick:  Sitting up on my butt to ask for cookies. I do this A LOT!

Favorite Treat:  Rice Chrispy Treats. You don't think dogs like those??? Oh, goodness, they are wonderful! Bring me some any time you can!

Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because:   I am the biggest sweetie you have ever met.  I am calm and love to roll over on my back so people can rub my belly. I love children and animals and...well, pretty much everything! My fur is very, very soft and my human mommy keeps me very clean. You can give me a hug and put your face in my white neck ruff, and smell how good I smell. I will probably give you a kiss while you're down here.

My Favorite Places to Visit:  I am a Jamestown TDU therapy dog and I am so excited to start my new career working with kids in our new reading program!  My volunteer handler is named Kate.
