Meet GUS!

I am a very laid back mix breed.  My mom says that I am mostly Newfoundland and St. Bernard. I will be 2 year old in November 2010. My mom gave me a forever home when I was only 4 months old. I was born in a very bad place and was rescued by some really nice humans. Because of where we were living before I was rescued, my brothers and sister and I got really sick with parvo. A couple of us didn't make it but I fought my way thru it.

Things I Learned from Humans:  I have learned lots of things from human. I learned how to sit, lay down, stay, roll over, shake and I especially like to rescue sticks that are thrown into the water.

Things My Owner Learned from MeHumans have learned from me that big dogs are just as loveable as little dogs. I may not be able to sit on your lap, but I sure do give good hugs.

Favorite Trick:  I really don't like dog treats or human food, but I do like to eat sticks.

Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because:   I love to meet new humans and I am a great listener. I will sit for hours and just listen.
