Meet Lucy!

I'm a three year old Bullmastiff, and although I resemble a small pony, I'm quite gentle and easygoing. I have a six year old brother, Chico, and I love to play with him. I love going to the peninsula and prancing in the water (I'm not a good swimmer, so I look for the sandbars), and wading in the creek at Frontier Park. I enjoy going to camp in the summer, as I always luck out with something from the grill.

Things I Have Learned From Humans:  I've learned how to be polite and not to beg for things. I've learned how great it is to sleep in on the weekends, and how much fun it is to play inside when the weather in Erie is bad. I've learned how to play Hide & Go Seek and Find That Treat!

Things My Owner Has Learned From Me:  Although I don't bark often, if I do, there is definitely a reason. I am more likely to eat my medication and/or food if they sprinkle romano cheese on it.

Favorite Trick:  I have recently learned how to High Five!

Favorite Treat:  I love a hard-boiled egg!

Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because:  I'm a good listener, and I don't interrupt. I don't pass judgement either. I enjoy being around all people and animals, and enjoy life in general. My positive attitude is sure to bring a smile to your face, regardless of your situation.

My Favorite Places to Visit:  Pleasant Ridge Manor.  My volunteer handler is named Denise.
