I am a 10 year old Red Poodle. I was adopted from Because You Care after my Mom Sally died. I was then adopted by the Benedictine Sisters, Carolann and Rita. Thanks to my good friends - Pam, Ruth and John, I found a loving home with the Sisters. I have passed my obedience and Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Classes and recently received my Therapy Dog Vest. I am now taking Agility Classes.
Things I Have Learned from Humans: People are wonderful - they give me treats, see that I am groomed and even let sleep with them! I know I'm "special" because when my owners leave they always give me a treat and a hug.
Things My Owners Have Learned from Me: Patience. If you want something - keep at it until you get it! We have learned that love is a 2-way street. Working together and playing together makes for good friendships.
Favorite Trick: I like to steal Kleenex out of the box, purses, pockets, waste paper baskets or anything else I can find. I have done this since I was a baby. I also like playing with my squeaky toys - shaking them and then tossing them into the air!
Favorite Treat: Milk Bones or Cool Packs made from Yogurt.
Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because... I love people, love to cuddle on laps and just being close to all my friends.
My Favorite Places to Visit: Mount St. Benedict Monastery, St. Mary's Home, Millcreek Community Hospital TCU Unit, Barnes & Noble. My volunteer handlers are named Sr. Carolann and Sr. Rita, OSB.
