Meet Sophie!

I'm a beautiful Great Pyrenees and I am loving my new career!  I'm getting set to start working in the Corry School District with my Mom, who is a teacher.   I love meeting new people. My mom and dad are always taking me to different parks and trails to meet as many new friends as possible. I love swimming, playing, and gettting hugs and kisses. I love the winter time the best and will spend as much time as I can outside. The colder the better!

Things I Have Learned from Humans: Doggie seatbelts are a must when I am riding in the car. Shoes are not toys, especially my mom's. Barking at 3am doesn't make anyone happy. Helping others is the greatest gift of all.

Things My Owner Has Learned from Me: Patience... lots and lots of patience. A good belly rub can fix a horrible day. Meeting new people is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Favorite Trick: Shaking paws! I even know what paw to extend to shake properly!

Favorite Treat:  Dairy Queen Vanilla Softserve Icecream. The bigger the cone the better!

Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Becaus.... I love to brighten people's day with my silliness and playfulness! It's my favorite thing to do! The greatest reward for me is to see a smile.

My Favorite Places to Visit:  The Corry Area School District.  My volunteer handler is named Anne-Marie.
