I’m Stella and I am very pleased to meet you. I am a 4 year old Golden Retriever and I just know I’m going to love you; I love everyone. Being a therapy dog is a great way for me to meet people and share the love.

ABOUT ME: I am a beautiful very light Golden Retriever but make no mistake; my heart of gold is 24 Carat. I was raised as a spoiled baby but it has not gone to my head at all. I love running around outside, wading in the pond, chasing squirrels off my turf , and following my humans around in my unending search for family fun. My human partner thought I would be a good therapy dog because of my sunny disposition. I am always happy!

THINGS I LEARNED FROM HUMANS: Oh, I learned my manners and some basic tricks. Nothing fancy. I did learn to be well behaved around large groups of people. The better I behave, the more petting I get! The biggest thing I learned is that I just LOVE people; all people.

THINGS MY OWNER LEARNED FROM ME: My owner learned a lot from me. I am her first Golden so she had to learn to understand my personality. Now that I’ve taught her how smart, loving, relaxed and eager to please I am, we   have a fabulous partnership. She drives and I bring the love!

FAVORITE TRICK:  I only know a few tricks but I will happily give you my paw and I can be bribed to ‘say please’ for a treat.

FAVORITE TREAT:  Cheese sticks. Whether given a little piece from your hand or asked to take a bite from the stick I always take treats gently…..’cause I do like those cheese sticks!

MAKE NO BONES ABOUT IT….I AM A GREAT THERAPY DOG BECAUSE…..  My supply of love is endless and sharing it is my life’s dream. The more I love, the more I get loved. It doesn’t get better than that!

My Favorite Places to Visit:  Edinboro University, Barnes & Noble, General McLane School District.  My volunteer handler is named Liz.
