I am a three year old merle Great Dane. I grew up in Philadelphia, and now I love living here in Erie. I love long walks, car rides, going to the beach, sleeping in, and being lazy! I was named after "Sully" from Monsters, Inc. because even though I might look like a big monster at first glance, I am really a big, cuddly teddy bear!
Things I Have Learned from Humans: I have learned that humans can have a lot of stress in their very busy lives. But when they take the time to pet me, those bad things seem to go away...at least for a while when we are having fun! I have also learned that, for some funny reason, people seem to think that I am a horse. Please don't ask my Mom and Dad if I have a saddle.
Things My Owner Has Learned from Me: I will do what you ask me to do...if you ask me the right way. A queen size bed isn't big enough when you have a Great Dane. And, most importantly...big dogs have the biggest hearts!
Favorite Trick: Giving "High Five!"
Favorite Treat: Sleeping in bed with Mom and Dad, cheese, and belly rubs.
Make No Bones About It...I Am a Great Therapy Dog Because: I will sit with you and listen to your troubles. I will stay by your side and cuddle up next to you when you need a friend. I am a very gentle giant and I love to help people have a better day!
My Favorite Places to Visit: Sarah Reed Children's Center, Borders Books, Sunrise Assisted Living, Forestview at Springhill, Sarah Reed Retirement Center, AseraCare Hospice, Pleasant Ridge Manor Girard. My volunteer handlers are named Rebecca and Eric.
