The weather was picture perfect onboard the Victorian Princess on Monday, June 19th as 41 therapy dog volunteer handlers gathered to celebrate Therapy Dogs United's 15 year anniversary. Incorporated as a not for profit public charity on June 6, 2008, Team TDU has been serving the Erie, Crawford and Greater Pittsburgh region for over a decade. In 2021, our programs and services expanded nationwide. Today, we have therapy dog teams volunteering in 13 states, with new locations being added monthly.
We enjoyed our anniversary celebration so much, our Board of Directors decided to host this celebration annually and rename it our "Volunteer Appreciation Cruise." Mark your calendar for Monday, June 17, 2024 and get ready to once again set sail with us!
